This Privacy Policy explains how Krakenote ("Krakenote," "we," "us") handles information collected through this website, including our launch waitlist. Krakenote is an upcoming AI-powered study app for iOS and the web. When the app launches, an expanded in-app privacy policy will cover data processed inside the app; this page covers the marketing website and waitlist today.
Information we collect
- Email address — only if you choose to join our waitlist.
- Basic technical data — standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) generated automatically when you visit, used for security and to keep the site running.
We do not ask for your name, and we do not use invasive tracking on this site.
How we use your information
- To notify you about early access, our launch, and major product updates.
- To prevent spam and abuse of the waitlist form.
We do not sell or rent your email address, and we don't send spam.
How your information is stored & shared
Waitlist emails are stored securely in our database (Supabase) with access restricted to us. We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to operate the site — currently our hosting provider (Railway) and database provider (Supabase). We share information with them only as needed to run the service, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your choices
You can ask us to remove your email from the waitlist at any time — just email support@krakenote.com and we'll delete it promptly. Any launch emails will also include an unsubscribe option.
Children's privacy
This website and waitlist are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children through this site.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
